Composed of detailed descriptive texts of the main heraldic insignia, accompanied by detailed photographs, the book also proposes their cataloging, classification and analysis, so that the reader will discover an impressive number of 68 heraldic insignia, of which 43 are presented in detail. Within the pages of the publication there is both a first-ever study on the evolution of Timisoara's coat of arms, and heraldic emblems that are now extinct. Although it deals with a specific aspect, the book is intended for all Timisoara's heritage enthusiasts, contributing to the enrichment of their knowledge. The book will be launched on Saturday, in the Baroque Hall of the National Museum of Art Timisoara. The publication is the result of the research carried out within the project Heraldic Heritage of the Municipality of Timisoara, carried out by the Association Prin Banat in 2024, the project being supported by the Romanian Order of Architects, from the stamp duty tax in architecture. he National Museum of Art Timisoara (MNArT) will host on Saturday, November 23, the launch of an album titled "The Heraldic Heritage of Timisoara", dedicated to the history and architecture of the European Capital of Culture in 2023, inform agerpres.ro.
