Bucharest Stock Exchange opens downwards on most indices on Tuesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened downwards on most indices on Tuesday, with transactions amounting to 4.545 million RON (913,509 euros) 35 minutes into the trading session.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.18%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, went down 0.17%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, decreased by 0.23%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciating by 0.15%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decrease of 0.68% while BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw a decrease of 0.15%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by companies such as Condmag (+10%), Turism, Hotels, Restaurants Marea Neagra (+2.73%) and Turbomecanica (+2.61%).

On the other hand, the shares of Longshield Investment Group (-2.3%), Oil Terminal (-1.61%) and Transelectrica (-1.4%) were decreasing.
