PSD and PNL leaders submit to BEC lists of candidates for European Parliament election

The PSD and PNL leaders, Marcel Ciolacu and Nicolae Ciuca, went together to the BEC, starting from the new headquarters of the alliance in Soseaua Kiseleff 57, which was, in the past, the headquarters of the Social Liberal Union's (USL) and then of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats (ALDE).

They were accompanied by other members of the leadership of the two parties and MEPs, including social democrats Mihai Tudose, Gabriela Firea, Paul Stanescu, Marian Neacsu, and liberals Rares Bogdan, Lucian Bode and Dan Motreanu.

According to the BEC decision, the lists of candidates for the European Parliament election must be submitted by April 10, 23.59 at the latest. According to the decisions adopted by BEC, the lists of supporters, including at least 200,000 people, must be submitted together with the candidates' files.

On March 26, BEC admitted the establishment protocol of the PSD PNL electoral alliance.
