UN ONG in legatura cu SOROS fabrica rapoarte despre victimele civile ale bombardamentelor rusesti. A Soros linked NGO operating in Syria with the al-Qaeda terrorist group al-Nusra is fabricating reports of civilian casualties, according to Twitter posts.
"Russia strike in Homs today. 33 civilians killed including 3 children and 1 @SyriaCivilDef volunteer," the organization's tweet reads.
A Soros linked NGO operating in Syria with the al-Qaeda terrorist group al-Nusra is fabricating reports of civilian casualties, according to Twitter posts.
The group, dubbed the “White Helmets,” posted the image on Twitter.
The image was subsequently revealed to be misleading — it shows a girl injured on September 25, 2015, days before the Russian bombing campaign against the CIA’s jihadist “rebels” operating in the country.
According to Sputnik, a Russian news website, the photo was tweeted hours before the Russian Parliament authorized the use of military action in Syria.
Investigative journalist and peace activist Vanesse Beeley told Sputnik and the 21st Century Wire the White Helmets are sponsored by the globalist George Soros and work with the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and other anti-Assad NGOs.
The White Helmets group is linked to Soros through the PR firm Purpose, Inc., which argues in favor of military intervention against Bashar al-Assad.
The co-founder of Purpose is Jeremy Heimans, who created Avaaz, a “pro-democracy” group linked to the Soros’ Open Society Foundation, MoveOn.org and the labor group SEIU, NGO Monitor reports.
“If you look at their creation in 2013, they were set up with funding from the UK, USA and Syrian Opposition Party. We immediately have the suspicion that there will be an element of impartiality within the organization,” Beeley said.
“White Helmets demonizes the Assad government and encourages direct foreign intervention. A White Helmet leader wrote a recent Washington Post editorial. White Helmets are also very active on social media with a presence on Twitter, Facebook etc.,” she added.
According to research conducted by Rick Sterling, the White Helmets were previously dubbed the Syrian Civil Defense. The group was created by the UK and USA in 2013.
“Civilians from rebel controlled territory were paid to go to Turkey to receive some training in rescue operations. The program was managed by James Le Mesurier, a former British soldier and private contractor whose company is based in Dubai,” Sterling writes.
“The White Helmets work primarily with the rebel group Jabat al Nusra (Al Queda in Syria). Video of the recent alleged chlorine gas attacks starts with the White Helmet logo and continues with the logo of Nusra. In reality, White Helmets is a small rescue team for Nusra/Al Queda,” he claims.
Jabat al-Nusra has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State, as have a number of other mercenary groups in the country.
The White Helmets “ignore atrocities carried out by these groups, which are propped up by Western aid and weapons, while creating media-friendly images of victims of Assad’s bombing of rebel-held areas,” explains Mint Press.
"NGO Monitoring" about Avaaz
Avaaz was co-founded in 2007 by “Res Publica, a global civic advocacy group, and Moveon.org.” The former received grants totaling $250,000 from the Soros Open Society Institute in 2008. The latter received a $1.46 million grant from George Soros in 2004. Res Publica describes Avaaz.org as its “primary current project.”
According to a 2007 ABC News report on Avaaz.org’s call for the firing of Paul Wolfowitz as president of the World Bank, Avaaz.org is a “global advocacy group funded by philanthropist and financier George Soros, MoveOn.org and the labor group SEIU.”
According to the 2009 Form 990 (page 87) filed by the Open Society Foundations, OSF gave $600,000 to Avaaz.org via New York-based Res Publica; $300,000 for “general support to Avaaz.org” and $300,000 for “Avaaz.org’s work on climate change.”
A check into OSF 990s for 2010 or 2011 show no grants for Avaaz nor Res Publica. According to its 2011 990, Avaaz.org’s total revenue for that year was $7,519,028. Avaaz.org claims it is “wholly member-funded.” Avaaz does not publish a detailed list of donors on its website or 990 forms, and therefore this claim cannot be verified independently.
Avaaz.org is active in the Israeli-Palestinian arena. Its 2011 campaign “Palestine: the time is now,” was aimed at pressuring the UK, France, and Germany to support a Palestinian bid for recognition.
The petition and accompanying video titled “Middle East Peace – The Real Story” promotes the Palestinian narrative. In 2007 Avaaz.org launched a petition calling to “End the Siege of Gaza: Ceasefire Now” demanding an end to the “blockade and growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza” and “ensure the free flow of supplies by land, sea or air.”
Avaaz.org teamed up with the anti-Israel, BDS group Jewish Voice for Peace during the 2013 AIPAC Policy Conference purchasing hundreds of anti-AIPAC billboards posted in downtown Washington, DC subway stations.
