Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday's session down
The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's session down across all indices, with turnover reaching 24.15 million lei (4.85 million euro) after 30 minutes of trading, inform agerpres.ro.
The main index, BET, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a decline of 1.54%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, registered a drop of 1.55%.
At the same time, the expanded blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid titles, lost 1.52%, while the performance benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 1.79%.
The BET-FI index, which tracks the SIFs, recorded a decline of 1.15%, while the BET-NG index, which tracks the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sectors, saw a drop of 1.35%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 3.58%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in stock values were recorded by Sinteza (+14.67%), Condmag (+10%), and Vrancart (+5.06%).
On the other hand, the biggest decreases were seen in the shares of Promatris (-11.89%), Prefab (-6.70%), and Artego (-6.67%).
