"I am a beneficiary of this program and I see firsthand how the system works. We also have a big problem with connecting these systems and issuing prosumer certificates. It has been eight months since I installed the system and I am not a prosumer even today since today. I didn't want to talk to anyone, just to see if these things are real. This will surely cause us problems in the future if we don't manage to eliminate it the imbalances in distribution and transport - and if we don't manage to make it easier for the household customer to become a prosumer in a reasonable time, one month, two, not eight months", Adrian Corbu told the 12th edition of Energy Forum: 2025 - year of great challenges, organized by DC Media Group, inform agerpres.ro. According to him, the Green House program is in its third year, and next year a program will be launched to finance only battery systems for the beneficiaries of the former programs. For her part, Daniela Daraban, the executive director of the Federation of Associations of Energy Utility Companies (ACUE), emphasized that 300 prosumers are connected daily, and the companies are not facing the high demand. "I am convinced that distributors can do more on the bureaucracy side, but let's not forget the dynamics: we connect about 300 prosumers per day. It is not an aspect to be neglected considering the rate of growth of those who become prosumers. The demand that exists can't be completely satisfied. We can certainly do more and make efforts to adapt to the trends", emphasized Daniela Daraban. According to her, in the last five years, investments of 500 million euros were made, on average, per year, in the electricity distribution networks. ACUE's analysis shows that in 2030-2035, in order to "give value to investments in production", a tripling of these investments is needed, namely 1.5 billion euros per year. The regulatory framework approved by ANRE is not satisfactory and will not ensure the attraction of private financing at the required level. In her opinion, "there is a need for a serious discussion on figures and analysis to determine which investments can be made concretely, considering the regulatory framework versus what is needed for 2030 and which financing solutions are for the difference that must be ensured for production needs and consumption".
